There was Bishop Stanislaus Fernandez amidst his flock every day of the Bible convention held at Ahmedabad. Not only was he the main celebrant at the Mass but he also was present for the services, singing the praises of the Lord, clapping hands, setting the example of active participation-and that with the constant and severe pain in his arms which made movement very difficult. Forgetting his personal problems, he kept interceding for his people. In the midst of the praises and prayers, the Lord took away this pain. The Bishop shared this happy news with Fr Mundackatt at lunch on the fourth day and on the last day, gave his testimony to the thirty thousand people gathered on Fatima School grounds, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Praise you, O Jesus O Lord, our Sovereign!
