When I Prayed...
"So I tell you, whatever
you ask for in prayer,
believe that you have
received it, and it will be yours" (Mk 1:24)
An orange-sized lump along
with my two-month old baby in my uterus! I was shocked. The lump was growing.
The scan confirmed the doctor's report. Medication did nothing to dissolve
it. Surgery after four months of pregnancy was inevitable- this was the
doctor's verdict. My husband and I were in the depths of grief and anxiety.
It was at that time that Fr Mathew Naickomparambil came to preach a retreat.
All my family attended it and prayed earnestly for me. Before the retreat
was over came the announcement by father that the unwanted growth had disappeared.
I could not adequately express my thanks to Jesus! A medical check-up and
scan confirmed the fact. In due course I gave birth to a girl without any
difficulty whatsoever.
