It all started in 1994 on Onam day. After lunch, while I was washing my mouth and face, I experienced a particular feeling. My mouth could not contain the water. I rushed to the mirror. The sight was horrible. My right eye could not be closed. The lips pulled to one side. I tried to pull them back and but in vain. I rushed to the doctor and I was to be scanned by the best neurologist in Ranchi. After 2 months' medication and physiotherapy, the terrible look was gone. However, the right eye was becoming smaller. Doctors informed me that in some cases of paralysis, a scar may be left forever. In1994 October, we had our first Evangelical retreat in Ranchi. I was very reluctant to participate. But urged by my wife, we all attended the retreat. My wife and children were praying fervently. I really do not know when I was cured as we all forgot our own problems. Afterwards when it was observed that I was cured I never bothered to thank Jesus like the ungrateful 9 lepers for all these years. Jesus Christ showered his blessings abundantly on us. I was also completely cured of a skin disease, a hereditary problem of my family. The skin of the palms and soles used to peel off during winter. For the last two years this has not occurred. I believe this is another miracle Jesus did for me. We all had a lot of mental peace and happiness. Above all, we came into contact with many good people and instances of good works which have opened our eyes. After the retreat, we were able to see people in a different way. This is a new experience. We praise you Jesus, thank you Jesus.
