From Everlasting
to Everlasting
I bear testimony to God's
great miracle in the life of my new-born grand-daughter.
Sasha Maria was baptised
at home in a hurry, by our assistant parish priest Fr. Christy, when she
was only 11 days old, because her little life hung in the balance. Nay,
we had no hope that she would live at all. She had a blockage in her liver.
The specialists said there was only one thing to do and that was to open
her up-find the blockage and clear it. We took her to several specialists
thereafter, only to be told that they must operate on her. When we asked,
"Will she survive the surgery?" we got answers like, "We have no answer
for that", "Don't even ask such a question", "It is highly risky, but there
is no other way." They couldn't even tell us if she had even one per cent
chance of survival. Finally we prayed about it and decided that if the
Lord wanted her, then he would take her, but we were not going to put the
little infant through any physical torture before that. The Lord saw our
tears, heard our prayers and directed us through a friend to a homeopath,
Dr Solomon, a believer and a servant of God.
Praise the Lord! With medication
from Dr Solomon for about five months, the blockage was cleared and Sasha
Maria is two years and 4 months old and a very energetic, talkative little
girl.
When we took her back after
she was cured to the same doctors who said she couldn't live, they were
amazed. One said, "It is a miracle"; another exclaimed, "This is impossible!"
Only we know, that with our God, all things are possible. We also learnt
from these doctors that many little babies suffer from this same malady,
but so far, not a single infant has survived it, except Sasha Maria.
This is only one of the
many miracles that I have experienced during my life. I can never praise
and thank God adequately for his great mercy, love, protection and the
blessings he showers upon us daily. May the name of Jesus be praised and
glorified forever. Thank you precious Lord!
"Stand up and
bless
the Lord your
God from everlasting to everlasting"
