For 20 long years I had had to strain my left ear to listen to human voices or to the sound of music - for I had lost the power of hearing in my right ear. When doctors and medicines failed, I turned to Jesus! He became my refuge.
 
On 13 September 1997, I went to Potta ashram to hear the word of God. During the hour of adoration, I shouted out my praises to my God and adored him. The great moment arrived. A 20-year-old deafness was healed. "Then looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, 'Ephphatha,' that is, 'Be opened.' And immediately his ears were opened..."

I was born deaf in my right ear. Often I participated in the daily prayer service at Potta, seated in the presence of the Lord, drinking in his word with a burning thirst. On January 3rd, while praising him along with the thousands around, I, who could never hear with my right ear, was healed completely. I can now hear perfectly well. Thanks to you, my dear Jesus! Praise to you!
