Usha Rani, a native of Coimbatore, was stricken with a deadly malady - blood cancer. Eyesight and the power of hearing failed. For two months she was completely in bed. She participated in the retreat at Divine, interceded for the thousands of sick gathered there. As a result of the prayers of several prayer groups and sick people, the Lord touched Usha Rani in that hallowed hall of the retreat centre. Usha Rani regained her eyesight and power of hearing.
"I Love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold" (Ps 18:1).
Ajanta Pamela could not walk
for over a year and a half. The pain in both the legs and joints was unbearable.
It was with the help of others that she came to the convention led by Frs
Mathew Naickomparambil and Augustine Mundackatt. When Father Mathew announ-ced
that Jesus was healing some with weakened legs, Pamela felt a current pass
through her whole body. She was relieved of despair and the oppressive
pain in her mind. Immediately the legs were strengthened andthe pain left
her. Pamela walked forward to the stage praising and thanking God. "Be
exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth"
(Ps 108:5)
