He took away all my guilt   "Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand" (Is 41:10)

"The wages of sin is death"-this was very true in my case. My past life was steeped in sin. The over-ruling passion in my life was to take revenge on all those who had hurt me. All the anger and resentment took me to death's door. Tests showed that the middle positive line circulation of the heart was very low. Persuaded by a friend and my wife, but much against my will, I attended a retreat at Divine in 1996. Fr Panackal's class on forgiving love touched me deeply.God gave me the grace to forgive all those who had offended me. I saw all my sins as on a TV screen. A good confession made me a new man.
 
But the brokenness of my life haunted me. My heart trouble became worse. Tests showed that a bypass surgery was essential. Mental, physical and financial stress gripped me. In this state I again went to Divine in 1997. I was able to pray with all my heart. When I gave the first place in my life to God, the anxieties and grief that harassed me left me for good. After the retreat, with a heart full of hope, I proceeded to Sri Chitira hospital, Trivandrum. What was my surprise! The pre-operative tests revealed that I was completely healed of all kinds of heart trouble. Thank you and praise you, Jeuss!
