By God’s grace and medical help I recovered from most of the injuries only to suffer with a locked knee and injured soft issue of the right knee, severe pain in my left knee and lower back. In spite of continued medical treatment I suffered from severe pain and discomfort.

I visited a specialist who advised operation on both knees. Having been through all the preliminary tests, I was to undergo surgery on a particular day. Only God prevented me from going through the ordeal, as the anaesthetist was not available on the scheduled day.

We were a normal Christian family who said the Rosary and went to Church on Sundays.

In May 1997 from 9 th to 11th Fr Mathew Naickomparambil held a retreat at Beasant Nagar, (Adayar) Church. We had heard about the Divine Retreat Centre and Fr Mathew Naickomparambil. But Jesus had a big surprise for us on the 10th. Father announced that some people who had met with motorcycle accidents and injured their left knee and back were being healed and, behold! I stood up and thanked and praised God. On the 11th Father again announced a similar healing but for the right knee and, praise be to Jesus, I stood up again to give witness of the healing. From then on till date I have had no pain in both my knees or back. Jesus is working in my life and my family everyday.

Now we are learning to simply trust in Jesus and praise and thank him for everything, whether good and bad, knowing he is with us always and we have nothing to fear.
