"Do not be afraid,
little flock" (Lk 12:32)
In 1995 I was diagnosed
as having a tumour on my pituitary gland in my head. Because of this condition,
my pituitary gland was not functioning and eventually my thyroid gland
was also affected. I attended the Bible Festival last year at the suggestion
of a friend. Little did I know my Lord was going to shake me to the core
of my being. As I sat through the sermons night after night, the word of
God cut right through me. I did not know until then how far I had gone
away from the Lord and that my life was so sinful. The Holy Spirit opened
my eyes and made me see what I had become. The Lord gave me the gift of
repentance and saved my soul. My life has not been the same ever since.
I now know that God loves me and my identity is in Christ. The spiritual
healing I received was the greatest healing I could receive. I praise the
Lord for that.
In December of that year
a brain scan revealed, to my doctor’s amazement, that my tumour had strangely
disappeared without a trace. I know that the rest of my healing is on its
way. Praise to Jesus!
