"When he entered
Jesursalem, the whole

in Galilee"(Mt 21:10-11)
A sea of people listened
to the word of God and experienced God's heal ing power from March 1st-5th
on Marine Drive while the dancing waters of Vembanad lake bore witness
to the manifestation of God's mercy. "Love one another"- this was the theme
of the Convention .It was the zeal, dedication and untiring effort of some
lovers of the word of God, their self sacrifice and prayer that made the
Convention a reality.
At the Convention led by

Augustine Mundackatt, Fr Mathew Eluvunkal, Bro.Thomas Paul ,Mrs Rani John
Kanjikode shared the word of God.

Bible marked the beginning of the ceremonies. Fr Jose Paul Nellisserry,
General Convenor, welcomed the gathering. Mar Varkey Vithayathil, head
of the Syro-Malabar Church, inaugurating the convention, expressed his
wish that the spirit and inner meaning of "Re-evangelisation" mentioned
by the Holy Father in his encyclical "Towards the Third Millennium", may
be imbibed by those attending the convention.
On the concluding day the
chief celebrant at the Holy Mass was Archbishop Daniel Acharuparambil of
Verapoly. He exhorted the people to build up a culture of love according
to the example given by Jesus.
The multitude who had grasped

of the Spirit, left the Marine Drive grounds filled with the sweet peace
of a deep conversion and firmly determined to live a life based on the
Gospel.
