The Lord Surrounds
his People
"Those who trust
in the Lord are like Mount Zion.
Which cannot be moved,
but abides forever. As the mountains
surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people"(Ps 125:1-2)
Very costly antibiotics
had drained my purse for the past ten years. I had to ease the pain of
acute acne that prevented me from moving my head freely unless I fortified
myself with painkillers. The acne was spread all over my body constantly
oozing blood and pus. But the ones on my neck were the most painful. During
the retreat I found I was getting healed because Jesus, the compassionate
Saviour had mercy on me.

The doctors detected a hole
in my daughter's heart when she was just 9 months old. Profuse sweating
and daily temperature troubled her for years. After the family attended
the retreat at Divine in 1994, these two symptoms disappeared and a check
up later showed the hole in her heart had disappeared. Now we have come
again for a retreat to thank and praise Jesus.
