Deliverance belongs
to the Lord
"Believe on the
Lord Jesus,
and you will be
saved
you and your household"(Act
16:31)
Acute pancreatitis forced
me to be hospitalised and put under sedation for over a fortnight in the
ICU. My breathing rate dropped so drastically that tracheotomy was done
on December 27th 1995 and my life had to be sustained through artificial
respiration. The doctors lost hope and I was to pass away in a few hours.
It was disastrous news for my father who was already a heart patient. But
all of a sudden the doctors and nurses attending on me were surprised to
see me breathing well. I was shifted to the special ward on Jan 17th 1996
and was given oxygen through the tracheotomy tube. One night the nurse
lowered the oxygen level for me to breathe naturally. I was scared but
she comforted me telling me about Lord Jesus. I slept peacefully. At about
2 am my bed shook terribly and I called out for mummy. I had a vision of
Jesus who pushed me under the blanket and said, "It's not time for you
to go. You have to live. " I was happy as well as afraid. I began to be
optimistic. I was operated on thrice as there were innumerable small pouches
of pus and necrotic material in the pancreas.
The secret of my sudden
healing was the grace given to my father, who, on the advice of the nursing
superintendent of Apollo hospital, had gone to Divine, Muringoor, to attend
a retreat. He experienced great joy and peace there and heard the announcement,
"a child suffering from abdomen and stomach disorder is being touched by
Jesus." My name too was called out. My dad came home to find me better.
I was discharged from hospital on May 30th. Now I can walk about without
difficulty. Praise you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!
"Because you have
seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet
have believed"(Jn 20:19)
