Bless the Lord from
Everlasting to Everlasting
"The steadfast love
of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never
come to an end"(Lam 3:22)
On the night of 17th April
1998, I was unable to sleep due to severe stomach pain. After a scan we
discovered that there was a stone totally blocking the ureter leading from
my left kidney to the bladder and hence my left kidney was only partially
functioning. After a series of X-rays, I was asked to wait for four weeks
before a decision could be made on how best the stone could be removed
and the possibility of surgery was not ruled out.
From the 23rd to the 26th
of April there was a retreat at Bangalore conducted by the Potta priests.
I attended the same for some time and handed over a petition to the brothers,
who also prayed over me.
We placed our trust in Jesus
and continued praying more fervently. We had a lot of relatives and friends
also interceding for me.
However, on the 11th May
1998, to our pleasant surprise, unseen hands pushed out the stone which
was around 1 cm. In size.
Praise the Lord!- The Lord
has indeed answered our prayers and strengthened our faith in his mighty
power.
Thank you Jesus for covering
me with your precious blood and being with us in our times of distress.
"Those who trust
in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever"
(Ps 125:1)
