Believe and be Saved
 

I was suffering from a tumour in my pituitary gland for more than ten years. I was under medical treatment for a long time. Doctor advised me that I would have to take tablets for the rest of my life to suppress the growth of the tumour. This tumour had resulted in a disease named ‘Hyper Prolactimea’ a sort of hormone imbalance that caused complicated menstrual problems and abnormal milk secretion. It badly affected my eye sight too. Because of this my whole family was very much worried and distressed. In January ‘99 my husband sent a petition to Medugorje seeking the Blessed Virgin Mary’s intercession for the healing. This petition was presented to Mother Mary during her apparition on 25th of January ‘99.

As a result, I believe, Mother Mary arranged for the retreat in St Joseph’s church, AbuDhabi. It was conducted by Fr George Panackal of Divine Retreat Centre in the month of March 1999. On the first day of the retreat when Father announced that Jesus was healing someone’s ailment of the head I felt an electric shock effect in my whole body and in my head. On the final day of the retreat Fr George Panackal announced, "Jesus is touching Shirley." And I believed it was me.

In spite of that I continued with my medicines for about two weeks but I was unable to take the medicine because of a vomiting sensation and giddiness. This uneasiness prompted me to give it up with a strong belief that Jesus had cured me completely, and I thought, "Why should I continue the medicine when he has healed me?" Subsequently, this month I had normal menstrual discharge without the medicine and simultaneously the abnormal breast milk secretion has stopped abruptly. This is a positive indication that my prolonged ailment has been completely cured by Jesus’ healing touch. Thank you Jesus, praise you Jesus. You are the one and the only living God and my soul will sing incessantly: "Bless the Lord oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits He pardons all iniquities, he heals all your ills" s(Ps 103:2-3).
