It was at the Bible Convention and the healing service that was conducted by Fr Augustine Mundackatt, Adv. A.M Mathew and Fr Vincent Lee at Seoul that it took place. On the second day of the retreat, Fr Vincent Lee announced: "Jesus is touching a person who has no sense of hearing in the left ear." Fifty-eight-year old Lucia Hong jumped up from her seat and rushed forward. The volunteers confronted her atonce taking her for a lunatic. "I'm not insane: I'm not disturbed. The Lord has touched me. I can hear now," she cried. In a 3000-strong crowd, she pulled back the hair covering her ears and continued: "My left ear was deformed from birth and was totally deaf. But as soon as father announced the healing, something seemed to pop out of my ear. I heard a sound like a gunshot. It was with this sound that I was shocked and stunned. And that opened my ear, enabling me to hear even the slightest sound. I'm convinced that Jesus Christ is alive even today." The crowd saw and heard Lucia giving the testimony and broke out in a great chorus in Korean.
  "Kamsa Hamnida, Kamsa Hamnida Kamsa Hamnida Yesunim" We thank you, we thank you, we thank you, Jesus .
