Even after 4 years of my marriage, I did not have a child. Though tests and examinations revealed no major problem, doctor suggested that I undergo a minor operation. But before I could do that, I decided to attend a week-long retreat in Potta.
 
I fell very sick just the day before I should go, but I made up my mind and with the help of my mother and sister went to Potta. Strangely, even after travelling a long distance, by the time we reached the Divine Retreat Centre, I was perfectly well.
 
During my prayers at the retreat, I was constantly reminded to forgive someone whom I thought I could not ever forgive. So I decided to yield to God's grace. But once back home, I did not think seriously of doing so.
 
Five months went by and I did not undergo the operation or any other treatment. Then my mother and sister reminded me about my promise. I should also let that person know about it, they said. And so finally I did so. To my surprise the very same month I actually forgave that person, I conceived. Praise the Lord. Thank you Jesus. In July 1995, I gave birth to a baby girl. My daughter Elsa is now going to be three years old. I thank Jesus for his wonderful gift to me.Thank you Jesus.Praise you Jesus.
