From that day onwards I was under his medication, taking at least 8 tablets a day with strict instructions to observe a diet and avoid climbing staircases etc. In spite of it, occasionally I used to be admitted in nursing homes for severe palpitation. With no much improvement I carried on seeing the Doctor for a check-up at least every second week which cost me a lot of money but it was of no avail.

In September ‘97 with faith I attended a retreat in Divine Retreat Centre, Muringoor, together with my two daughters and their families. With the others I glorified and sang praises to Jesus. From the day I entered the prayer hall I did not observe any diet. On the day of healing Fr Augustine Vallooran announced that Jesus touched and healed 4 in the group who suffered from heart problems. At that moment I did not think I was one of them. After the retreat when we returned home I felt so good and active that I discontinued my medication and diet having no after-effects at all. Thank you Jesus!

In November ‘98 I went for a check-up to my doctor who had sent for me. He, ofcourse, asked me why I did not turn up for so long. Then with joy I told him, "Jesus cured me" and explained all that happened. He was happy but at the same time to convince himself he insisted on my taking 3 E C G s and X ray of my chest plus every possible test needed. As advised, the following day I brought all the results to him. He very carefully went through them and with a smile said to me, "You were my patient for 5 years. I am very glad to tell you that now I do believe that your Jesus cured you wonderfully. There is no trace of any heart problem in you."

I praise and thank you wholeheartedly my Jesus for this beautiful gift you have given me at this advanced age to be remembered with gratitude to the end of my life!
