Healing that Turned a Doctor into a Believer
 

For years I lived in the darkness of sin. To save my soul and body and for the good of my family, the Lord gave me heart disease. On April 14th 1997, at the very moment I realised it was heart trouble, Jesus who raised Lazar from the dead, entered my heart. Though I knew it was a very dangerous double attack, I was not in the least afraid or anxious. So tenderly did Jesus protect me in his strong arms. Very soon I was healed and in 10 days discharged from the hospital. As soon as I was admitted in the ICU in Chennai, my two children sat in the church opposite dedicated to Our Lady and kept praying, "Jesus save Papa". The cry of the children was acceptable in the presence of God.

During the retreat starting on May 9th 1997, conducted by Fr Mathew Naickomparambil, in the church of Vellankanni at Basant Nagar, I kept praising and praying to Jesus. "Six heart patients have been healed," announced Father. My name too was mentioned. The Lord was calling me by name and healing me completely.

The doctors conducted all the tests possible and declared that I was fully healed, issued me a medical certificate and gave in writing that the disease was fully and miraculously cured by the grace of God and through prayer and that there was no need of any further medication.

Dr S U Thillaivallal, a renowned heart specialist of Chennai, a great devotee of God and a non-Christian, is now a believer who relates to every patient who comes to see him, the way Jesus healed me miraculously.
