I had come to Divine Retreat Centre with all my personal troubles, to pray for myself, but when I realised what prayer was and learnt how to pray, which I never before did in my life time, I forgot about myself. For the first time I learnt to give praise and thanks to Jesus which, again, I had never done until then. I also began praying for others, repented of my sins and forgave all those who had hurt me, particularly my family members; and then Jesus healed me.

After my Confession I had the first healing touch of Jesus. He took away all my anger and bad temper. I had my eyes closed during this session and waves of light started replacing the darkness that I had before my eyes. I thought I was going to faint, but after some time the darkness was replaced by light and when I opened my eyes, everything I saw was bright as never before. I felt very calm and cool and the trembling of my right hand stopped. I had my left nostril blocked from the time I was about twelve years old.

I could not breathe freely. During a prayer session it was announced that people suffering from sinus and nose block problems were being healed. At this time l felt the cartilege that separates the right and left nostril soften. I could feel the difference but I still could not breathe freely. During the inner healing session I experienced the power of the Holy Spirit. A blast of air escaped through my left nostril and as I breathed in, I felt air going down my throat and a cool sensation which I never felt before. And now I can breathe easily.

I had a backache and a persistent nagging pain on my shoulder for more then seventeen years after I had fallen off a tree.

The doctor said the pain would last throughout my life. I could sleep only with my knees bent.

After Mass on Thursday I felt a cold sensation slowly spreading on my lower back and all the tension and the tightness being removed. I felt very light and comfortable. And then I began jumping around.

I had five ulcers in my stomach. I underwent treatment for it but the pain did not fully subside, although I felt much better. I was advised not to fast nor to skip my meals. I would get pain when I was hungry and could not bear the discomfort. But here at the Retreat Centre I fasted for two days without even a single drop of water and I felt well, with with no pain or any hunger pangs. Also I had had no urinary control. From the first day of my retreat till now I have not had the urge to relieve myself as often as I did before.

I was jobless from the time I finished my high school and my life since then was a mess. I did not hold on to a job for long, and as it went on for years I became insecure and lonely. But now I am assured a job. Praise the Lord!
