Blood Cancer Healed     "All the works of the Lord are very good"(Sir 39:16)  
Our family life was full of turmoil. There was not a day of peace or harmony. The cause, we realized, was the fatal disease of our little son, Vipin. In 1994, when he was just four years old, he contracted a fever. As it persisted, we took him to a doctor who referred him to the Trivandrum Regional Cancer centre. A bone-marrow test revealed he had blood-cancer. It was incurable, said the doctors. The little boy was subjected to chemotherapy several times.
 
With this the family atmosphere deteriorated. Mutual accusations and quarrelling became the order of the dayto add to the agony over the child's illness. On an inner impulse that prayer at DRC and Potta may help, the entire family went for a retreat to Muringoor and for a Bible Convention at Potta. During the convention, Fr Mathew Naickomparambil announced that Jesus was healing blood-cancer patients. We did not take it very seriously. But on our return, the tests proved Vipin had been cured completely. Thank you Jesus! Praise you Jesus!   "Ascribe majesty to his name and give thanks to him with praise, with songs on your lips, and with harps"(Sir 39:15)
