He Inclined His Ear to Me
 
"Then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be save" (Joel 2:32)

I have been working in the Health Department for the last 36 years. Water used to ooze from of my ears whenever I caught a cold. After 12 years both the ears got affected, oozing puss and water. For 18 years I was under medication. In the meanwhile, servere headaches and a flow of blood from the ears became a normal feature. The headache caused fainting fits. For the last 3 years I could not comb or wipe my hair after a bath or even bend my head. As the ailment grew worse it became impossible even to raise my arms .Xray showed festering in the brain. Instant surgery had to be done. In February 1997 and later in November the same year I underwent surgery. There was no relief whatsoever.

Deep despair over-whalmed me. In this state I went to Divine for a retreat. In the ear-splitting noise of the atmosphere there, I thought I would go deaf. The pain in the head became so bad I only longed to be back home. My counsellor said I would be healed. But I did not believe her. On the fourth day during the healing session, I felt something like an electric shock all over my body. I saw the form of a dove in the sacred Host. I could turn my neck to either side and also bend forward. From that moment onwards my headache disappeared. Back home, I joined duty as a totally healthy person A month later I went for a check up. "Nothing wrong. No need of any medicine", said the doctor. The word of God from Wisdom came to my mind.

"For neither herb nor poultice cured them, but it was your word, O Lord, that heals all people" (16:12),

I must go to Potta Ashram and listen to the word of God at least once a week, I decided.

On June 20th I went there. Fr John announced during the Holy Hour. "Three people have been healed of a festering ear" I was again under an electric shock and believed I was healed. When I went to the doctor he found that both the ears were healed! Oozing had stopped! What fifteen years of medication could not do, my Lord did for me in a moment! Thank you and praise you Jesus
