A Mega Evangelisation Package
for spreading the Gospel to more than one billion people in 31 days

There are nearly 6 billion people on the world of which only 2 billion believe in Jesus Christ. Of the 970 million Indians only 2.30% people are Christians. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed, God did not sent his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgement, that the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil" (Jn 3:16-19). It is going to be two millennia since Jesus Christ came into this world to save man from sin, diabolical bondage and from eternal death.

The word of God says that those who do not deliberately believe in Jesus, are condemned because they do not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Can we, believers, stand looking indifferently at those moving towards perdition, those who are in the clutches of Satan, whose body and soul will be lost forever ? What does this sort of faith mean?

Jesus says, "... the Father has sent me, so I send you" (Jn 20:21). Is not this command meant for us? My dear people, listen again for the word of Jesus.

"Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Mt 28:18-20).

Should we not observe this commandment? Let every believer speak to another person about Jesus. The next day there are two who believe in Jesus. The following day the two become four and then eight, the eight become sixteen and so on. Thus if the gospel is spread on a one-to-one basis, within 31 days 1073741824 people will come to know Jesus, and experience the salvation he brings.

As soon as you receive the October copy of Vachanotsavam, send us the name and full address of atleast one other person and also Rs 60/- (for subscription outside India Rs. 400/-) as part of your work of evangelisation. Send another name and address and the subscription for another person the next month. The current circulation of Vachanotsavam is about three hundred thousand copies. Atleast 10 people on an average read Vachanotsavam. In one month three hundred thousand more will be readers and through them 5 millon copies will be circulated. If we work together during the remaining three months, 120 million people will be enabled by January 2000 to return to the Father, become a new creation, be filled with the Holy Spirit and experience the word of God become incarnate in Christ.

This is a request to you in Jesus Christ and an attempt to participate in the work of evangelisation in God's name. Do co-operate with us till the dawn of the Jubilee year. What you will have to spend is only Rs 180. If it is extended for one year more it adds up to Rs 720. This sum God will certainly give to you.
