Higher than the Heavens
Is His Love
My wife Betly was suffering
from diabetes for the past four years. All this time she was under diet
control without taking any treatment. In February 1999 she was complaining
of tiredness and weakness. On 1.3.1999 she went for a medical checkup.
Her blood sugar was 422 which was very high. Again on 6.3.1999 it was 417.
The doctor was worried and he said she would go in for a coma and any part
of her body could be affected. During that time a three-days' retreat was
conducted in Fathima Church, Gandhipuram. On the third day, we took part
in the Holy Mass and adoration. As Father Augustine was going to the stage
she happened to meet him and received his blessings. During the adoration
I offered up my wife fully, and praised the Lord to my heart's content.
God touched and healed her. The next morning she said, "I am not feeling
tired. I am feeling fit". Again her blood was tested, the result was normal.
The doctor was surprised. We told him about the retreat that we attended
at Gandhipuram. The doctor agreed that no medicine could show such a change.
It was God who worked the miracle. I thank God most humbly for his goodness
and mercy. Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus!
