I Have Decided to Follow Jesus  
 
I am a student of standard XI in Chenai. I have been suffering from severe pain above my right knee as well as the left, for the past three to four years. My parents did not take this pain as a serious problem.
 
Incidentally, my mother told me about the three-days' retreat to be conducted at Perambur from 19th September to 21st September of 1997. At first I refused but as per her wish I was forced to attend the meeting. On the last day, during Fr George Panackal's talk, I underwent such acute and unbearable pain above my knee, that I had to keep banging on my affected knee. A little later, during the healing session, I was healed but I was not aware of it. The next two days I went to school for Basket Ball coaching. The pain never recurred.
 
I praise and thank God for having touched me and for healing me. Ever after this experience, my desire to attend more such retreats has become a burning desire in me. Now after the retreat at Santhome Cathedral, I experience a sense of peace, love and joy and I have decided to follow Jesus in every event of my life. I once again praise and thank the Almighty Healer who has instilled such deep faith in me!
