Faith Moves Mountains  
My husband and I had made a week-long retreat at the Divine Retreat Centre, Muringoor, in September 1994. My husband was a born asthmatic. He also took ill on the last two days. One of the mess*ages given at the retreat was, "Thirty-seven people are cured of asthma". Why I had so little faith-I do not know. I never could imagine my huband was one of them. On reaching home he developed a severe cough. The next day we had the doctor home. He examined him and pondered. He said, "Fernandez, you have a lot of congestion, but, no wheezing." Oh! I could have shouted aloud, "Praise You Jesus". But the words, "Thirty-seven people are cured of asthma" kept ringing in my ears. I asked pardon of Jesus for being a "disbelieving Thomas" and for not accepting that my husband could have been one of those thirty-seven. That night, believe me, he did not cough at all. My husband was freed from asthma from which he had suffered all his life. He is now 59 years and our Lord Jesus has cured him of this dreadful sickness. Let more of our brothers and sisters learn this lesson of increasing their faith in Jesus and reaping its fruit. Nothing is impossible, if only we believe with faith.
