The Graces Surrender
Brings "Praise the LORD! O give thanks to the
LORD, for he is good; for
his steadfast love endures forever" (Ps. 106:1)
I kept planning to go to
Chalakudy, Divine Retreat Centre from almost one year . I could not make
it because obstacles were coming from all possible sides. I am engaged
in the transportation business. For the last 6 months my business was in
turmoil. My debts increased and one of my lorries met with a major accident.
Peace and happiness vanished from my family. My most loved and cherished
aunty, who meant everything for me, was seriously sick. We all had lost
hope and so I went to D.R.C. and surrendered myself to God. Praise the
Lord! Lord Jesus heard my prayers and spoke to me on the first day of the
retreat. I was relieved of a few of my tensions. After the surrendering
session my heart was filled with joy and peace. I felt light in my head
and all my tensions were gone. During the healing session Bro. George called
out my name, ‘Johnson the Lord is blessing you now’. Immediately I could
feel an electric shock pass through my body. After the session I came to
the chapel to thank God and asked him to talk to me through the Scriptures.
The Lord spoke through Psalm. 34:4 and it touched me. Praise the Lord!
Alleluia. On Thursday sister Marina announced, "A person whose business
was in a big mess, please pray to God". I knew that person was I. Before
counselling I again went to the chapel and prayed to God and the Lord gave
me Psalm128 and I was pleased.The counsellor gave me John 10-10 and he
spoke to me about the Holy Spirit and gifts of the Holy Spirit. On Friday
before the Mass, I had gone alone to the chapel asking our Lord to fill
me with the Holy Spirit and the Lord answered to me through Psalm 51. During
the anointing of the Holy Spirit I was crying out Alleluia. After about
50 seconds I started praying in a new and unknown language which came spontaneously
and I started shivering. Electricity passed through me from head to toe.
I could feel happiness, love and peace in me. Thank you Lord for filling
me with the Holy Spirit. I know now all my problems at home and in my business
are solved and my aunty will be completely healed. I am a Protestant by
birth. I had no idea about the Holy Eucharist. Now I am enlightened about
the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist and the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
Praise the Lord! Thank you
Holy Spirit! Thank you Jesus!
