The third millennium It's the month of December,
The Season rare to remember,
The event of Merry Christmas,
Lo! the Birthday of Christ Jesus! This is the season of Peace and Love,
The Incarnation of God from above,
Come, welcome, God of every creature,
Lo! He takes our human nature! Cry, 'Maranatha', come Lord Jesus,
Our friend, our brother, so precious,
Come, adore, God our redeemer,
Lo! the Baby born in a manger! King, Emmanuel God with us,
King universal, come save us,
Come, praise God, our Protector,
Lo! He leads us in pathways proper! Come, Son of God, into our world,
Renew, redeem and us remould,
Grant to you all we humbly lead,
Lo! for this we kindly plead! The great Jubilee is close at hand,
'Yesu Khrist Jayanti Two Thousand,'
Transform us Lord, to the maximum,
To live with things bare minimum,
And thus to enter the Third Millennium.
