When there are differences of opinion, we should speak out , not go out of the Church, advised Pope John Paul II. It was at Salsburg Cathedral, where he had gone for a 3 - day visit that the Pope spoke thus: '' I am praying constantly for you. It is to comfort and strengthen you that I have come. There is need for dialogue between the Church and the people. Dialogue presupposes readiness to understand each other. At times we may have to dialogue behind closed doors, since there is the possibility that the media, with vested interests, may destroy the success of the discussions,'' said the Pope to the faithful.
 
 

The Indian Church is a Praying Church -Pakistani Catholics

The group of Punjabi Catholics who come on a visit to India from Pakistan, remarked that the Indian Church was a community of those who prayed much. Parts of the Bible in more than 2000 languages
 
The United Bible Society reports that last year parts of the Bible were translated into more than thirty new languages. That makes the total of 2197 languages in which the Bible is available today. The entire Bible including the Old Testament and the New Testament, has been printed in 368 languages. There are about 6000 known languages in this world. Official sources have said that it is necessary to translate the Bible into all these languages for the fulfilment of the Kingdom of heaven.
