For uploading website we recommend FileZilla, free FTP software. FileZilla can be downloaded from http://filezilla-project.org

Download and install FileZilla "client", if you are a first time user read, Help > Contents to learn how to use FileZilla.

FileZilla configuration :

File > Site Manager > New site

Host	: ftp.yourdomain.com
Servertype	: FTP
Logontype	: Normal
User	: username
Password	: xxxxxxxxxxx
In "Transfer Settings" tab configure
Transfer mode	: default
Limit number of connections	: yes
Maximum number of connections	: 1
